Bun Tool and Giveaway

Some time ago, we discovered what we consider to be the perfect bun tool. This easy-to-use little device creates secure and clean looking buns – much easier than using donuts or socks.  In our video, we show you how to make a simple top knot.  The tool can be used to make a variety of buns and even other styles like french twists!

Beautiful Abstract Jellyfish

One of the highlights of my recent trip to Chicago was the Jellyfish Exhibit at the Shedd Aquarium. We somehow just ended up there while looking for indoorsy things to do and were captivated by all the beautiful jellyfish on exhibit. They were totally hamming it up for my camera — moving dramatically, and waving around their ribbon-like tentacles(?) in slow motion, resulting in shots and footage that look like abstract art. Enjoy the photos and video I took!

New York Fashion Week – Video Recap

I love taking photos and making videos so I’m always on the lookout for fun events to capture. Naturally, Fashion Week provided the perfect opportunity for me to indulge my shutterbug side. Above is a highlights reel of some of my video footage and photos from the shows I attended. Featured shows include Porter Grey, Jill Stuart, Tibi and L.A.M.B. Don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel as we have more videos planned for the future!

For a more exciting version of the same video, check out the vimeo version, which includes actual songs played at the shows. YouTube didn’t let me upload this version for copyright concerns.
